The Process

1. Connect with us for a free resume review!  We can discuss how Career Story's services may benefit you. 

2.  Decide on what service package you require. Pay a 50% deposit on the service requested through e-transfer, cash or PayPal invoice. Make sure that you have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions before paying. 

3.   Send over any supporting documentation that may help with the resume-writing process. Examples of documentation include previous resumes, old cover letters, performance reviews, and links to job postings. 

4.  Then we talk. This phone interview usually takes about one hour, but you may want to give yourself some additional time.  We want to make sure that we get the most comprehensive information possible!  

5.  We aim to have your resume to you within 4 - 5 business days of our phone meeting. 

6.  After receiving your first draft, we chat again for about 30 minutes. We review the document(s) and talk about any requested changes. 

7.  You will be able to provide feedback within 30 days of receiving your first draft.  Your resume writer will help you with up to 2 rounds of edits.  

8.  Final documents will then be sent.
