Hello, I'm Kristin

Imagine what your life would look like if you LOVED your job. My goal is to help you explore your career possibilities and transition to new opportunities with ease.

I work with people who are motivated to make a career or job change. I am a trusted career advisor and job search consultant with expertise in resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn, interviews, and networking.

With 12+ years of experience in the human resources, recruitment, and careers fields, I have successfully helped a variety of clients including senior-level leaders, business owners, driven mid-level professionals, and university and high school students find career success.

In a competitive market, I guide people in uncovering their core strengths and telling their powerful success stories.

Several of my resumes have been nominated for or have won Awards of Excellence from the Career Professionals of Canada. But better than any award is knowing that my clients are landing new and better job opportunities.

Beyond one-to-one coaching, I also partner with organizations and non-profits to provide customized, affordable outplacement services.

Along with my background in non-profit, business, and HR, I am a Certified Resume Strategist, Certified Career Development Practitioner, and am trained in narrative career counselling. Currently, I work part-time at Simon Fraser University as a Career Educator, too.

I have been invited to speak and facilitate on various career-related topics by the Burnaby Board of Trade, University of the Fraser Valley, Women in Male-Dominated Industries, BC Career Development Association and Ceric (Canada’s leading career research and education organization.)

This is more than a job for me - I am fascinated by all things career-related, especially how the world of work is evolving, best-practice recruitment methods, and organizational behavior and psychology.

When I’m not working, I look for mini adventures around town or enjoy getting into the mountains along with my partner, Brian, and our two adorable kids. I love hosting dinners and parties that are filled laughter, ridiculous games, and good food.

The process of finding a new job or identifying a new career path can feel isolating. Having a trusted partner on your side during this time can bring clarity and direction. Someone who you can bounce ideas off of, vent to, ask questions, and who will enthusiastically celebrate your success in the end.

Past clients have appreciated my creativity, empathy, and vast knowledge of career and job search. Sessions are often collaborative, engaging, and usually pretty fun, but ultimately provide you with new insights and informative resources that will guide your path forward.
